Trivia:

The original idea was to have the film set on Eternia throughout and be much more faithful to the cartoon, but due to budgetary reasons the script was changed to have it set on earth and reduce the amount of sets, and strange characters they would need to create.

Goofs:

Audio/visual unsynchronized: During the attack on the school, Karg says, "She might know where the key is," to his troops yet his mouth does not move.

Great lazy Saturday afternoon movie.

If you're looking for a film to sit back and take in on a lazy Saturday afternoon, look no further. "Masters of the Universe" is one of the best examples of this type of film. There is no deep thinking, you just sit back and watch. I really enjoyed watching this, it's the kind of movie you can get wrapped up in, just like "The Ice Pirates". All in all a worthwhile view.
