McLean Stevenson, who played Lt. Col. Henry Blake, died of a heart attack on 15 February 1996. The next day, 16 February, Roger Bowen, who played Lt. Col. Henry Blake in the movie, died of the same cause.

The greatest war sitcom

"M*A*S*H" was the most successful TV show inspired by a movie. It ran for eleven years and viewers were still watching the sitcom when it was about to leave the air in 1983. I enjoyed the last episode just like every other viewer who saw it. The movie may have been a hit, but the series is unforgettable.
