As a teacher in a New York City Public school, I was curious about the questions as much as I was about how the average American would answer them. The corn-fed fifth graders are hand picked from central casting. However, the hoopla and corny suspense is enough to make a person want to regurgitate lunch. So, the answer for someone who is curious about the questions, yet has no patience or stomach for the canned laughs, is the almighty DVR - aka TiVO. It cuts the show to about fifteen minutes, which then provides great cocktail party fodder when you explain the ridiculous answers some of the contestants offer up. Although the Yaley was very bright and fun to watch!
