Trivia:
During each episode, a 15-second presentation appears, asking the public for help in finding real-life missing persons. The FBI provides a picture and descriptive information about the missing person to be displayed with a voice-over message recorded by one of the series stars. moreGoofs:
Factual errors: In more than one instance, suspects being interviewed with a polygraph answer all the control questions (Is your name John Doe? Are you 39?) truthfully. In reality, a suspect is told to answer all the control questions "yes", whether true or not, to determine the accuracy of the polygraph machine. moreQuotes:
[questioning the attorney of a death row inmate]Samantha: Do you think Ricky did it?
Lawyer: I don't think he got a fair trial.
Samantha: That's not what I asked.

It's a good show, fairly well-written, with good plot lines, but the characters are a little under-developed, which is sometimes frustrating. But overall, I would recommend it easily. The "one case per episode" thing can result in rushed episodes sometimes, but most of the time, they keep a realistic time line. Of course, with this kind of show, you can rarely really "connect" with the missing persons stories, because it's so short. You can get bored of the style after a few seasons, but if you like shows like Bones or Criminal Minds, this show is a good choice, even if it's missing the humor-wittiness of Bones and the intelligence of Criminal Minds.
